Receptionist (Television) – Nampa ID - Receptionist KIVI-TV Nampa, ID Scheduled Days & Hours: Full-time Monday-Friday 8 AM to 5 PM; non-exempt. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Successful completion of administrative, customer service, business seminars / courses is a plus. Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, professionally and with courtesy in person, by telephone and in writing. Ability to multi-task, work independently and efficiently without close supervision. Strong organizational, time management and problem solving skills. High work ethics and standards, promptness, reliability, accountability. Detail and accuracy oriented. Computer proficiency including knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint). Broadcast Traffic system (preferably Wide Orbit) usage is a plus. English / Spanish bilingual a plus. Experience: 1-2 years receptionist or customer service or general office experience including knowledge of office equipment (multi-line phone, printer, copier, fax machine). Must have an excellent attendance record. Duties: Provide professional and courteous customer service to clients, visitors and employees in person, on the phone and via email. Prepare invoices and statements for mailing. Process co-op billing. Prepare the daily accounts receivable deposit. Process credit card charges using an online program. Reconcile daily traffic logs and enter episode numbers using a computerized Traffic system. Process incoming and outgoing mail, faxes and packages. Manage the acquisition and storage of office and break room supplies. Provide administrative support and other general office / clerical duties as assigned by supervisor. Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable  (Radio) – Phoenix AZ - Code and input accounts payable to Lawson finance system. Process all weekly and monthly broadcast billing. Monitor cash in advance and credit limit contracts. Prepare weekly sales pacing reports. Update and assure accuracy of expense reforecast spreadsheets. Perform various general ledger duties as requested, consistent with company policies and procedures. Contribute to the overall success and efficiency of the business office in a team atmosphere. POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum two-year Accounting degree or extensive Accounting experience including payables, billing and general ledger applications.; Knowledge of basic accounting principles essential; Must be computer literate and proficient with Word and Excel software; Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions in a time-sensitive manner with minimum supervision; Good organizational skills and neatness a must; Must work well under pressure to insure that all processing is performed within the required time frames. Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and proven record of dependability are essential; Capable of solving routine problems and checking own work for reasonableness; Willingness to accept other additional responsibilities as requested; Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; establish, nurture and maintain effective communications at all levels of the organization and with outside contacts; Project an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor; Willing and able to work in compliance with company policies, procedures and standards of performance. Preferred Qualifications, but not required: Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting; Previous experience with Lawson or Marketron software; Previous broadcast experience.
